There are only 2 application acceptance facilities in Yonkers so we

for a new passport, access the list of passport offices in the state of New York.
Present the completed but unsigned Form DS-11
and supporting documents to an authorized acceptance agent at any one
of these locations. The agent will administer an oath and witness the
signing of the form. All documents will be placed in an envelope and
then sealed. Mail the packet to the address on the application.
It can take 4 to 6 weeks to get your passport. You can
accelerate the process by adding $60 for expedited service to your
payment. Your passport should arrive in 2 to 3 weeks.
If that is not
fast enough, you can submit the application at the New York Passport Agency.
An appointment is required. In addition to Form DS-11 and required
supporting document, you will need evidence of imminent travel.

applying for a foreign visa but are unable to visit a regional agency
