US Passport

Question: I am traveling to Marbella, Barcelona and Mallorca Spain from July 31 to Aug 14. My US passport expires on Dec 22, 2023. Am I ok to travel or do I need to try to get an appointment with a passport agency?

Question: We travel to Spain 6/27-7/18 passport expires 10/16 which give us 91 days of a valid passport. Will they let us travel? Also, how many days do they consider 3 months?

Answer: Three months is 90 days and the requirement is 90 days counted from the date of exit. Your passport meets this requirement. I recommend that you contact the airline you are flying with to confirm.

Answer: You need at least 90 days after your planned date of departure in order to enter Spain. Since your passport will have 116 days left by June 2, you should be okay.

Question: I am traveling 11/11 from NYC to Spain and my passport is expiring on 4/11 next year. I've read online that Spain only has a 3-month validity rule and called USPS who told me to call my airlines who then told me to call the US Embassy to confirm. Would I be okay with my travel plans?
